To support the successful development of fruit, a tree must be pruned seasonally. Slowly developing or immature fruit must be thinned out or separated from the fruit that has a potential of promise towards maximum growth and ripeness. Failing to prune thinning, diseased, corrupt fruit can endanger the life of thriving fruit. Leaving them in place and attempting to stay attached or connected can not only slow the growth of good fruit, but can also infect it.
As we are being transformed spiritually, we must be careful to look for those seasons that require us to prune those things and those “others” from our lives in an effort to be effective and fertile for seed bearing. The process of pruning can be both hurtful and heartfelt. We may have cleaved so long to bad fruit, that the fragrance of its fermenting rottenness might have weakened our ability to discern the truths of what you have become attached to. Allow the Holy Spirit to scan your head and your heart for those hidden and visible risks that must be pruned from your life.
If you are ready for fitness, prepare yourself for the exposure and ask God to rid you of all that would hinder you so that you may accomplish all that God has predestined for you.
Matthew 12:33
“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit
John 15:1-2
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
